It’s pretty heavy to get to the pool and back on the charger. We have used it about 4 times now and the pool is practically spotless. The debris collection container is a little hard to get clean. There is an order to taking off the panels. Once they are off, the hose gets the rest. Overall it has been worth the money and does what it is advertised as doing.

The Cadillac of All Robotic Pool Cleaners!
The Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max is what I would call the Cadillac of all robotic pool cleaners. This is definitely an all-in-one. Not only will it clean the bottom of your pool, but also clean the sidewalls. April then steps it up by allowing this machine to clean the surface as well. So it will float on top and clean the surface of your leaves.
If you’ve never had a robotic pool cleaner before, by April, it’s really a smart robot inside of the pool. It’s got sensors that map out the bottom of your pool and then climb up your wall. When the battery gets low, it will park near the pool’s edge, allowing for easy retrieval. Once you’re finished, just simply pull out the ultra-fine basket, spray it off with a hose, recharge for your next pool cleaning.
Once again, I’ve never seen it’s equal when it comes to pool cleaning robots. One of the best features about this is the hero mode, which basically scrubs the floors, climbs the walls, and skims the surface. I find it super fun to watch the robot scale the wall. And then, of course, when it finishes, it comes back to where it began. I found that this robot is super easy to use and extremely high quality. This is, without a doubt, a best in breed when it comes to robotic pool cleaners.
Cleans well! Weighs more than expected
The Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max All-in-One Pool Cleaning Robot is a great product. I was excited to use the all-in-one skimmer, wall, and floor cleaner. This product comes with a convenient docking station/stand and retrieval hook. The instructions are easy to read and understand. The filter box is easy to use and clean using a garden hose. It also comes with two types of micro mesh filters.
The robot has multiple features that can be synced to operate with the AIPER app or operated manually from the robots control panel. The robot has wifi and Bluetooth which is easy to setup. Wifi connects when the robot is docked and disconnects once the robot enters the water and reconnects when the robot surfaces.
There are four different cleaning modes Hero, Floor, Floor and Wall, and Skimming mode. It also has three cleaning intensity settings ECO, Auto, and Max. One super cool feature is the robot will surface when its done making it easier to retrieve from the pool.
The caterpillar tread and roller bush are replaceable and sold separately.
The robot does a fabulous job cleaning the pool from top to bottom.
Cons:
The machine is pretty heavy
The machine doesn’t drain away water fast enough while lifting it out of the pool.
Debris gets caught along the top edge under the filter box frame.
The manufacturer offers a 36 month warranty against defects and craftsmanship including the battery and motor.
Awesome machine
This thing is a beast! It does everything cleaning my pool. Bottom, sides, waterline and surface are cleaned by this unit. You can program it to do them separately or in combination. The Aiper App works great to setup and control the device. I particularly like the fact it has the micro filter for picking up the fine particulate in the pool. Makes my life a lot easier. Love it!
Love this machine!
We have had the Scuba X1 Pro Max for a few months now and it does it all! It cleans rhe floors, the walls, the water line and even skims the top! It was easy to set-up and is easy to use (we literally pick the cleaning setting and just drop it in and let it do it’s thing). We also purchased the caddy, which I highly recommend; the vacuum Isn’t so heavy that its cumbersome, but it is a solid weigjt.i highly recommend the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max.

I don’t normal write reviews, but I’ve had a “professional” pool service for the past 4 years until they raise my rates out of a job. I have a fairly small pool, FL style maybe 25×14 Freeform shaped. I finally broke down after self servicing for a few months and pulled the trigger when the Pro Max went on sale! OMG my pool has never looked so clean!!! The floor is spotless, the surface clean and clear, the sand from pavers, Gone! I haven’t even used the low micron filter yet. Easy to clean and wash off when done, then placed on charging cradle till next use. This thing is a beast, might be a bit heavy for some but it’s built like a tank.
If I have any complaints is that it struggles with a long curved bench I have along one wall, but the robot is wider than the ledge so I didn’t expect it would be able to stay up there. It’s a minor inconvenience however for how good the pool looks.
Just ordered the HydroComm Pro to complete the package!
