Yes, modern cordless robotic pool cleaners like Aiper’s are built for reliable, hands-free performance with strong battery life, smart navigation, and no cords to tangle. They handle dust, leaves, and debris effectively in in-ground pools, offering consistent cleaning without relying on your pool pump.
Battery runtime typically ranges from 90 to 180 minutes depending on the model and pool size, which is sufficient for most residential South African pools. This allows full coverage of floors, walls, and waterlines in one cycle before recharging.
Yes, Aiper cordless models use advanced traction (like caterpillar treads) and navigation technology to climb and clean walls and waterlines thoroughly, often matching or exceeding corded performance without the hassle of cables.

Great job!
It does a great job that I no longer have too!
Big improvement compared to a corded cleaner
.So far so good , easy use , packaging was neat.
It is a bit pricey but worth the cost compared to a corded cleaner.
Like it better than my old Dolphin
Suction better than my old Dolphin, I love the fact that you can clean the whole pool, only the walls, or only the floor.

Brilliant service and delivery
Works great, keeps pool floor nice and clean
This pool cleaner is a dream come true. It is like having a cleaning crew take over the pool cleaning. The robot is easy to use. Charge it and set it in the pool and it will run a cycle and vacuum the pool floor and walls. It does a great job of cleaning my pool and works way better than my Beat Bot ever did. I’d say this robot is worth every penny of its cost. The battery lasts long enough to clean the pool at least two or three times between charges. I pull it out every couple of days to charge it and empty the dirt container. I find this robot does an excellent job of covering all of the pool minus my steps. I’m happy with it and love that it takes the less desirable part of pool upkeep off my hands. This combined with their skimmer robot makes for a sparkling clean pool with no work from me.

Works great!
It’s pretty heavy to get to the pool and back on the charger. We have used it about 4 times now and the pool is practically spotless. The debris collection container is a little hard to get clean. There is an order to taking off the panels. Once they are off, the hose gets the rest. Overall it has been worth the money and does what it is advertised as doing.
Great job!

So much better than the old school cleaners
I purchased my Aiper Scuba S1 back in May 2024, and honestly, I could have sworn I had reviewed it. I only found out I hadn’t reviewed it because it just died and I wanted to update my review.
You may be asking, “Wait, it’s broken and you’re giving it 5 stars?”
Yes. I would have given it 5 stars a week ago, and I’m still giving it 5 stars and a bonus “niiiccce”.
First, let’s talk about the malfunction. It will not charge anymore. That’s bad. However, after a very short technical support call, I will be sending it back for repair under warranty at no charge and they are paying for shipping. It was literally a 5 minute phone call without any wait to talk to a person. I called, pressed 1 and then pressed 3 (I think), and immediately had a pleasant person on the phone.
Now, for the unit’s performance (while it was functional).
You can tell it to just vacuum the floor or the floor and walls. I have it just do the bottom about 75© of the time.
It does a GREAT job of picking up large and small debris. I have a salt water pool with flagstone around the edge. This causes a small amount of grit to always be shedding from the stones. The Aiper even vacuums up that grit. (I just took a photo of my poolside garbage can contenta that has the last clean out with that grit. See photo).
It has no issue making several runs across my pull and scrubs the sides pretty good.
It’s not very heavy, so the vast majority of people can lift it in and out of the water with ease.
My brother also bought one and absolutely loves his as well.
Before I saw it was a 2 year warranty, I had already decided to purchase it again if it was not under warranty. That’s how much I like this thing.
It’s like my robot lawn mower. If it dies after 3 years, I’m buying the same one again.
If you’re sick of the old school cleaners with the hose that always gets tangled or the cleaner staying in the same corner 80% of the time, you should seriously consider get the Aiper. It’s worth every penny.
